Meeting called to Order at 10:05 A.M.

Introduction of Members. 21 members present.

Minutes of June 28, 2014 meeting was read. Jim Brines made a motion to accept the minutes as read. The motion was seconded by Randy Hutchison and the motion carried.
Dues are due for the Atlantic City Historical Society. Randy Hutchison made a motion to pay the dues. Seconded by Dennis Walker and the motion carried.
The Treasurers report was read by Janiece in Deb’s absence. Les Armstrong made a motion to accept as read, seconded by Jim Brines and the motion carried.
Randy Hutchison reported that he had talked with BLM and they had no problem with him taking over the claim agents job. It would not affect any of his or the Club’s number of Claims. He also reported that he had sent in the papers for extending the dig permit that would have expired at the end of July.
Les Armstrong reported on the panning demonstration that was done at the Atlantic City Boom and Bust Festival on Aug. 2nd. Everyone had a good time and that they had about thirty children but no adults learn to pan. Randy Hutchison, (chair) Dennis and Charles Walker, and Les Armstrong helped.
Randy Hutchison made a motion to reimburse Les Armstrong for two trips to Atlantic City to help them with the demonstration (he supplied all of the equipment needed)  and also to reimburse the Walkers for their expenses coming from Rock Springs just to help. Jim Brines seconded the motion and the motion carried.
Les Armstrong made a motion to have the Sept. meeting at the Miners Grubstake in Atlantic City. Seconded by Penni Harden and the motion carried.

Next Meeting will be at The Miners Grubstake in Atlantic City. There will be a Breakfast special at 9:00 A.M.   At the Grubstake’s request there will be no ordering from the menu.    Meeting at 10:00 A.M.

The meeting was adjourned at 10:30 A.M.
